Bottle: Sweet grainy (barley)-malty nose with a touch of honey; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; sweet-honey in the delicate malty-bitter aftertaste. Unspectacular, but pleasant. Quite good - by slovakian standards.............

Golden straw colour with a large white head. Leaves some good lacing. Fruity, herbaceous nose. Clean-tasting but much hoppier than other pilseners I've tried thus far. Grassy flavours with a fairly bitter finish. Pretty good.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 JorisPPattyn (7306) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUN 7, 2010
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2010 Small white head over deep golden beer. Mostly dry grainy, but with a surprising aroma, remindful of freshly grind coffeebeans and toast, but very volatile, only grassy aromas left behind. Dry-ish, grassy and leafy flavour; rainwater, pretty dull. Rainwater quality, if well carbonated, light body. Starts not bad, but peters out afterwards. Many thanks to Lenka, Tomăš and Peter.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Leighton (6945) - London, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2012
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Many thanks to Cuso! Pours clear, bright yellow-gold with a fine, white foam head. Nose holds a bit of papery pale malts, light cereal. Light sweet flavor, mild hay, more papery malts, some light grains. Light in body with fine carbonation. Pretty crisp to finish, light lemony citrus, mild cereal malts. There’s a slight lemony tang here that stands out. Otherwise, pretty acceptable.

This pilsner pours a light orange gold color from a 330 ml bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is slightly malty, cereal and grassy. A light to medium bodied Pilsner. Malts are grassy and grainy. Hops are soft and slightly bitter. Lively carbonation. Crisp and clean. Smooth tasting. Flavors are kind of mild and little watery, Touch of vegetable as it warms. Drinkable, but kind of a standard tasting export euro-lager. Mouthfeel is a touch thin and watery. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This kicked the shit out of the 11.5% version I had while in Australia. Pale malt with some faint green hops, reminiscent of the middle-of-the-road dutch lagers (Bavaria, Amsterdam). Not bad in its own right, but compared to the other Topvar I had, stellar!
