2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Coffee color, thinning head. Dark malt is disappointingly faint in the aroma and the flavor. In fact, nothing stands out to me here. Not very malty, not very bitter. At least it’s not very sweet either. My kingdom for a flavorful bock.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Beautifully reddish brown, with mostly diminishing off-white head. Copper and planty of malt on the nose. Quite a lot of yeast detected. These are supplemented by more malt and copper in the taste, which is balanced with sugar and alcohol. Fairly long, slightly bitter finish. Well made bock!
