75cl bottle @ home, from B&S Drinks Wilsele; golden coloured with very fast disappearing head; high carbo; smell is malty; taste is malty, watery, some off-flavors, tastes like sewage water. Bah.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
75 cl. bottle shared with Rick @ home, bought somewhere in Belgium. Golden yellow with e big white head. Sweet aroma with some malts and hops. Quite boring actually, especially considering the price and the "premium" label. Forgettable

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle 750 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 8.5%
Pours a golden yellow beer with a bug snow white head. Medium to low retention, a big foam island remained on the centre of the beer’s surface and light lacing around the glass.
Aroma has nothing to do with a tripel or even a belgian strong ale as it is listed here. Just some malts, light grass, hay. I have had mass produced imported pale lagers that had better aroma.
Taste is very sweet. Full of those artificial sugars you find in candys, only much more annoying and cloying. Other than that some malts and a touch of light bitterness somewhere on the finish, that it’s now enough to save this beer. The alcohol is not so obvious but it is there, but at this point is much welcomed.
Medium thin body, quite carbonated.
Overall a big fail, disappointing in so many levels. Makes it even worse considering the price I paid back then and how it’s advertised as a special one. Recorked and back into the fridge to drink tomorrow after I come from work, when I just want a beer and I don’t care about taste.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Big bottle. Yellow color. In the nose i only have yeast yeast yeast. Taste is hardly any better, bit grassy, alcoholish. Dispointing, one-dimensional beer. Did not like this one

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Blonde classique, léger dépôt en suspension, pétillance très légère, presque pas de col. Maltée au départ avec une certaine présence de miel, notes de fruits exotiques, toute petite amertume. Une triple sans prétention, juste agréable...

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden blonde, dense white head. Aroma is sweet, with peaches-like aroma’s. Taste is slighty bitter, some alcohol shows up. Also some sweetness I cannot recognize. Medium body with fairly short finish. Too alcoholic imo, too mediocre.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled, large sample. Clear yellow color, medium frothy white head. Aroma of grassy and earthy hop, only very faint spicy yeast esters. Bland watery taste, medium bitterness, bit alcoholic, medium sweet. Lacks some yeast character actually. Now it’s more of an imperial pale lager, which you can buy in 0.5 L cans in the local Dutch and Belgian supermarkets branded by United Dutch Breweries. Thank god it lacks the off-flavors those beers have, so this one is still drinkable. But boring as hell.
