UPDATED: AUG 2, 2010 Cask conditioned handpump Alexandra Rugby A black beer with a white head and lacing. There is a ton of coffee at every stage of this beer, from the nose through to the mouth. Its really quite overpowering in the aroma and only slightly more mellow in the mouth. One for the coffee heads, which I am not, but I can see the appeal. Score 3.5

Cask-conditioned at the Wellington, Birmingham 21/1/09. Near black in colour with reddish tones and a decent, lacy tan head. Big aroma of bitter chocolate, dark fruits and roasted malts. Flavour was much the same, with a long dry finish. Very drinkable.
