Keg @ Town Hall. Copper color with a creamy white head. Nose is nicely grimy and dank. Pacific trade wind, green grass root. Some caramel maltiness. Taste is assertively bitter with a creeping malty sweetness in the finish. Caramel chews. Grassy hoppy bite. Medium body, active carb. Fun.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber gold with a tan head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a combination of grapefruit and pine backed by light grain. Flavor has a good amount of pine with growing grapefruit, a bit of grass and a light grain backbone.

Draft. Pale amber in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of guava, mango, and pale malt. Tropical elements continue on the palate, backed by some substantial pale and caramel malt flavors. Medium bodied with a solid bitterness. The caramel note was a bit of a negative for me, but it was still an enjoyable beer overall.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear orange pour with white lacing head, aroma brought notes of tropical fruit, orange, grapefruit notes into a bit of biscuit, dough, some bread into a bit of spice. Taste was a mix of grapefruit, orange, slight mango into some caramel, lots of spicy, zesty hops, finishing bitter, slightly sweet.

Growler. Pours an amber copper color with a sudsy off white head that fades to a thin film. Aroma is mixed malts and hops with soft mango spruce showing. Taste is bitter hops more mango spruce and a solid malt backing mild caramel roast in finish. Palate is medium coating and slightly sticky.

Growler. Clear dark tan pour, good lasting 1/3 inch head and an aroma of tropical fruity hops. Flavor is nice and malty with mellow tropical hops and a bit of light caramel on the finish. Really nice beer, it’s tough for me to choose between this and Masala when grabbing a growler to go (wince their the same price).

On tap at Town Hall Brewery. Pours a nice deep orange with a nice lacing white head. Scent is some nice citrus with a bit of resin hop aromas and bready notes from the malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, finishes with a resin bitter that lingers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
