Syd (770), Waconia, Minnesota, USA Feb 28, 2008 At Town Hall right now on 2/28/2008. Pint pours dark ruby black with decent lace and short lived head. The aroma is very coffee and chocolate like. The flavor is roasty toasty coffee, chocolate, yeasty, and very little hop. The palate rocks as it is rich and carbonated. This is good. keoki182 (305), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA Feb 25, 2008 Nearly perfect with a deep dark color and a medium brown head. The aroma and flavor are both smooth as an iced coffee. At 5%, I’d love to have had more of this. incutrav (527), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA Feb 19, 2008 Town Hall can make one hell of a tasty coffee brew I have found. The B.S Porter is smoother, and a bit more balanced in the coffee dept then their Midnight Howler was. Aroma is rich coffee beans, and flavor is much the same. I typically like a bit more coffee flavor, but there is plenty here, and ultra tasty smooth going down the hatch. Super good. footbalm (1217), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Feb 9, 2008 Tap.This was bit thin and one sided for me. I think maybe that is just seemed so weak that it was too much like simple cold coffee. LawStudent09 (328), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Feb 8, 2008 Mmm....coffee. Blackish pour with a small tan head. Not an overpowering coffee aroma but just right. The flavor has a hint of roasted malt and coffee but again not overpowering. Well balanced with a nice slightly hoppy finish.
