Commercial Description:
We have teamed up with the fine folks at Peace Coffee. This is a Minneapolis roaster that produces a full line of organic, fair trade coffee. Two seperate meetings with their roaster TJ created a special "Town Hall Blend" made up of a both Ethiopian and Columbian beans that created a perfect match for our porter. The result is "Black Snow," a 5% ABV coffee porter that is delicious.

At Town Hall right now on 2/28/2008. Pint pours dark ruby black with decent lace and short lived head. The aroma is very coffee and chocolate like. The flavor is roasty toasty coffee, chocolate, yeasty, and very little hop. The palate rocks as it is rich and carbonated. This is good.

Nearly perfect with a deep dark color and a medium brown head. The aroma and flavor are both smooth as an iced coffee. At 5%, I’d love to have had more of this.

Town Hall can make one hell of a tasty coffee brew I have found. The B.S Porter is smoother, and a bit more balanced in the coffee dept then their Midnight Howler was. Aroma is rich coffee beans, and flavor is much the same. I typically like a bit more coffee flavor, but there is plenty here, and ultra tasty smooth going down the hatch. Super good.

Tap.This was bit thin and one sided for me. I think maybe that is just seemed so weak that it was too much like simple cold coffee.

Mmm....coffee. Blackish pour with a small tan head. Not an overpowering coffee aroma but just right. The flavor has a hint of roasted malt and coffee but again not overpowering. Well balanced with a nice slightly hoppy finish.
