4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft. At Town Hall Tap. Pours a dark brown wih a light tan head. Raspberry in the nose right away with an after items of roast and chocolate. Medium rich mouthfeel. Itís like drinking a chocolate covered raspberry! I donít know how Hoops does it but damn they nail these fruit beers. Could get a touch sweet but this is pretty money.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Goblet was black with a smallish off white head. The aroma was certainly raspberry and chocolate - no question about it. The flavor struck me first as a chocolate covered Flintstone Vitamin (?). Iím not sure why I thought that, but it seemed to pervade my thoughts for some time. As things progressed, the flavor was more what I would expect, more lactic, chocolate, and the precious fruit showing through. The palate is rich and smooth. Overall, not bad.
