A good alternate to piss beer. This had good balance but my palate is way past this style.

On tap at Town Hall. Pours a clear golden color with white head. Grainy, straw, earthy flavors. Nice lager.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, crisp hoppy and light straw. Crisp grassy, light toasted malty. Bitter, grassy and straw. Crisp bitter finish.

Tap at brewery. Pours golden. Aroma and flavor are breast malts. Nice for the style.

On tap at brewery. Mild nose. Corn grain palate very mild beer with no flavors that stick out.

Tap. Pours clear golden yellow with a small white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is grain, grass and corn syrup. Flavor is lightly sweet and light grassy bitter. Light bodied, with prickly carbonation in the mouth.

On tap at Town Hall Brewery as "Town Hall Dortmunder Local Export" Sweet aroma, also a bit of balloon rubber. Very light pale straw, little head. Grassy initial; some mild harshness in mid palate; mild sweet aftertaste. Thin body. A bit pils-like (has some Saaz in it). Okay

on tap at TH 20Aug2012, This dort is still carbonated well and filled with that classic malt taste, but their version is less sweet and more malty than the GLBC version i’m used to, I prefer this one.

Sampler at the brewpub. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of grain and very clean. The taste was of malt with a small hop bite in the finish, very nice dortmunder.

On tap at Town Hall. King of generic lager. A touch of hops, slightly brown colour. The least favourite of the beers I tried at Town Hall.
