growler consumed 4/29/11. clear. dark copper with a big almond tinted head. big pine hop nose mixed with butterscotch, wood, malt (and a bunch of it), grass, florals, citrus, skunk, spice and pineapple. lots happening in there. the flavor is the same with a nicely dry very mildly bitter finish. spiciness lingers in the aftertaste. medium/fuller bodied. slick yet prickly and spicy. 7/4/7/3/15

Pours dark red with solid lacing white head. Aroma of pine, sweet citrus and caramel. Taste is sweet caramel, citrus with orange, pine and a bitter finish. Good stuff.

Draft. Served at Town Hall in a pint glass. Pours a clear, red caramel color with a 1 finger head of ligh tan. Really nice hoppy nose of orange rind with slight pine. The hops profile is apparent in the flavo right off the bat with a slight sweet start that pretty much stays the whole time but you get a building hop bitterness. Bitterness lingers on slightly. Medium mouthfeel. Nice lac as well. WAY too easy drinking!

Tap. Clear amber pour, plenty of lasting carbonation and a very malty/creamy and plenty hoppy aroma. Flavor is also slightly creamy malt, very spicy hops and slightly fruity bitter orange and a little pineapple sweetness on the finish. This is the closest thing I’ve had to Ballast Point’s Tongue Buckler, just amazing!
