On tap at Brewpub. Yellow golden in color with a small white head. Citrus aroma and flavor with some resin notes. Light sweet body. A very hoppy pale ale.

Growler shared by drabmuh. Dude, you rock!
The beer is light golden hued and pretty clear, sporting a small white head that leaves a bit of lacing on the glass. The aroma is fresh and inviting. Hops all the way. Floral notes and citrus. A delicious beer, and refreshing. On the lighter side, and at a mere 5.4%, one could easily go through a few pints of this. Good stuff!

Tap at the brewpub. Clear yellow to light gold pour with a small white head. Mostly pineapple on the aroma and taste. Crisp palate. Slightly bitter late but pretty well balanced.

Growler citrus aroma. Light bready malt and hint of that cat pee aroma.
Flavour is nice lemony citrus. Smooth body medium bitter finish.

A serious hop lovers brew. Huge hop, mild fruit aroma. A serious hop, floral and citrus taste with a bitter pineapple finish.
Now here’s the weird thing. I’m usually on here complaining about eers not being blended properly. This one is over the top hop. However, it works. Great brew.

Had it on cask, creamy yellow color, slowly became more visible. Tall white head, had a light bitter taste.

A: This one pours amber in color with a thin layer of off-white foam.
S: Smells kind of funky at first, almost like feet. That gives way to a pretty malt forward aroma of toffee and bread. There is a nice floral hop character to this beer as well as some grass.
T: The flavor is also quite malt forward. Lots of toffee and bread, maybe a bit of toast. The hop profile on the flavor is surprisingly different to what I picked up on the nose. Definitely a bit of grass but also some grapefruit and other fruit notes with a moderate bitterness.
M: This one is medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation.
D: The nose was just a little too off-putting for me. The flavor was pretty decent, however.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ElGaucho (2033) - Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA - DEC 25, 2010
Winter 2010 growler. Nice, sweet hop aroma. Dark gold body with little visible carbonation. White head. Discernible hop profile. Not quite balanced enough; should be sweeter. A little thin and weaker than you’d expect for a winter apa. Otherwise solid. Brought it to a holiday party and one guy really liked it and the other, whose go to beer is much golden, didn’t really care for it.

Clear light copper pour with some nice honey tones. Head diminishes quickly. Aroma is all about the pine...smells like a fresh cut X-mas tree in the best possible way. Flavor starts nice, with pine hops, leading into some malt and light vanilla notes. Not a ton on the finish, perhaps just a touch of resiny hops...overall though, the finish is slightly watery, and this hurts the beer. A decent beer, but could have used some toffee malt notes to cap it off and add some mouthfeel.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 kbutler1 (1259) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 21, 2010
Draft. Poured into a pint glass a clear amber orange color with a slight off white head. Nice aroma of bitter citrus rind. The taste is quite nice with an abundance of citrus notes with a slight malty backbone. The mouthfeel is medium/light with more carbonation than I thought it would have. Some lace left on the glass. Overall, decent but really no different than most other pretty well done apa’s.
