This seasonal brew was being offered in both standard and cask versions. I am rating the cask version. I had two buddies with me who had and disliked the standard version. Expecting something less than Town Hall’s usual superb quality, I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn’t much pick up a honey flavor at all, which is good because I don’t usually like honey beers. Moderate malt and heavily hopped, this is a relatively well-balanced brew. Large, light-brown creamy head with good lacing. The head has enduring longevity. Dark reddish brown in color. Lightly sweet flavor with average finish duration. Light to medium body, softly carbonated and moderately alcoholic. Overall a tasty, non-overbearing, non-spectacular brew.
