Welcome to German hops! This beer was made using
German malt, German ale yeast, and a boatload
of traditional German Hallertau Mittlefruh hops. The
IBUs are not high but this beer is hoppy. Hop pellets
in the kettle and leaf hops via “hop backing” to the
tune of nearly 10 lbs per barrel lends a hoppy German
style Pale Ale

Tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear light orange pour with a white head. Grain and bready malts. A little musty. Quite hoppy - big hop edge to this.

Tap. Light copper. Hoppy in smell and taste, but mild in general. Something slightly off about it. Decent but not great.
