3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Several pints via a growler kindly given to me by my sister and brother in law. The pour is a mostly clear copper golden with a one inch white head. The aroma is resin hop, pilsner and crystal malt. Fresh, nicely balanced nose. The taste is resin dank hop, some crystal malt resin, and finishes dry with light floral sweet malt. There is also some sweet herbal in the aftertaste which is a little odd. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, and the dry resin herbal finish. Nice one, smelled great, really easy drinking.

Tap at the brewpub. Pale lager? Really? Then a new standard has been set. Pine needles in the aroma. Sharp pine hop bite in the flavor. Very well balanced. Super good. Hmmm...it isn’t just pine, there’s another hop element in here. Some sort of sweet fruit.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear copper color with a small head. Aroma of tropical fruit, with a little lime and grain. Mostly a dark, grainy flavor. Light citrus. A fairly bracing bitterness.
