Cask sample. Tawny brown in colour with low + soft carbonation. Aromas are of red apple skin, malty caramel, and red licorice. Sweetish malt flavor upfront on the palate, followed by faint notes of toast, orchard fruit, and a bit of wort. Slick mouthfeel, yet still light bodied. Could have attenuated down a bit more. Average at best.

Draft at the brewpub, one of five pours in the seasonal sampler. Pours a clear, dark amber-brown color with a small beige head. Notes of toast, caramel, nuts, and earth. Finishes toasty. Light-bodied with modest carbonation. Nice mild ale.

Draft. Pours a dark mahagony brown color with a thick light tan head. Slight roast notes and caramel. Medium mouthfeel. Very nice, not overly robust, caramel notes upfront with a nice light roast in the end. Tasty. Nice lacing.

Light brown pour, huge dense light tan head with good lacing. Thin palate. Almost non existent aroma some wheat a tiny bit of malt clearly the mild part of this brew. Flavor is mild grains and malts mostly. Very easy drinking beer, not an impressive style, but a good representation.

Tap @ Town Hall. Pours a dark reddish orange appearance with an off white head. Rich toffee, toasty malty, sweet caramel aroma. A bit of butterscotch, toffee, somewhat light bodied flavor. A bit light but ok.
