3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draught at the brewpub near downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin and creamy off-white head. Aroma of light caramel and amber malts, citrus and lemon zest, a touch of orange and some white pepper. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of multiple hop characters that hides much of the caramel malt base. Finish is semi-dry, citrusy with a mild bitterness that lingers after the finish.

Not something I would choose over Masala Mama...well, maybe if I need to give my palate a breather.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light copper color with a large head. Nice citrus, orange, slight lemon and grass aroma. Taste is very earthy and bitter. Chalky and dry. Slight floral finish. It smells like an American Pale Ale, but tastes more like an English Pale Ale.
