Smells like chocolate milk and and toast. Dark chocolate color and thick texture. Tastes sweet and lightly bitter. Flavors of chocolate, cocoa powder (in a good way), hops, cherry syrup, and dark malts. Very nice.

Tap at TH, ridiculous beer... if you want sweet sweet milk chocolate goodness with only a slight hint of roast.. this is it. man this is like hershey’s mixed with breakfast stout.. really good, but really sweet.. definitely have to be in the mood for a beer like this. Most chocolate I’ve tasted in a beer.

Big black pour at GABF. Aroma is big and bold, loads of chocolate, hints of coffee, some roast. Flavor is sweet and rich, big and chocolatey heaven!

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. This brew is brownish-black with a medium tan head and small patches of lacing. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla and malt. Full-bodied and very chocolatey with notes of coffee and roast malt. The finish is smooth mocha goodness. Good beer all around.

Had this at the 2012 Great American Beer Fest in Denver, Colorado. One of my favorite beers of the festival, had outstanding chocolate/bourbon like flavors.

Sampled at Winterfest 2012. Pours black brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is awesome chocolate vanilla and roasted malt with faint scents of coffee too. Taste is so rich and chocolatey with hints of dark fruit and roasted malt and coffee. Palate is full and rich with a chalky dry finish. Awesome, really hope I can get a growler of this stuff!

On tap at GTMW 11. Rich toasty roasty aroma. Malts chocolate and rich. Rich chocolate flavors. Sweet bourbon chocolate. A little sweet but good. I enjoyed this one. 8/4/8/3/15

GTMW 2011. Poured a dark brown color with a large frothy brown head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted chocolate malt aroma. Solid bittersweet toasted dark chocolate malt flavor with a solid bittersweet finish of long duration. Full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. This is a standout beer.
