Pours a copper color with a light haze to it, sporting a 2" head of light tan foam. The beer turns brilliantly clear after sitting in the glass a minute or two while the head subsides. Decent lacing througout the pint(s). Mild malt and a spice in the aroma.
I taste a mild honey and caramel maltiness, which is followed by some bolder spicy hops (I think I heard Fuggles?). Very tasty. Medium body and lightly carbonated, this beer finishes with a unique dry tart and spicy aftertaste.

Golden amber. Grassy goldingsy hop aroma. Moderate caramel character. Tad bit astringent. Rather bitter and thinnish. Plenty of perfumey grassy hop flavor.

Light golden amber with no head. Light fruit, and light malt. Med weight with sweet mid and finish. Cherry, malt, and light roasted flavors. Nice!

Deep copper colour with some brown sugar and slightly hoppy aromas. Not nearly as malty as I had expected, but the bitterness is sure there. Hides its alcohol well. Perhaps a little outside of the stylistic guidelines, but who cares, this stuff tastes good.

Hops in the aroma. Dark copper color. Sweet fruit and hop flavor. Definitely similar to an IPA. Very dry finish.

Dark copper color with little head. Bitter aroma. Holy God... what a bitter, bitter taste! It is brutally alcoholic and tastes more like an IIPA than an ESB. I’m not so sure I care for it all that much, though I may need to give it another chance.

Illuminated Gold Coloring.... Aroma was Hoppy and Flavor As Well..but Becomes More Subdued...and Turns Into a Decent Bitter Througout.. Easily Enjoyable.

This is it for me, the BItter fan.
Put it on cask, which I hear will happen soon, and I will give it a 5. This is what ESB dream of being while touching themselves in the dead of night. Right-freakin’-on.

Nice copper color. Ever so slight haze. Strong, but not overpowering hoppy aroma. Mild carbonation, thin head. Nice, balanced profile. At first it seems quite hoppy, but a nice, balanced beer emerges after a few sips. Some bitterness on the front of the tongue, sweetness on the back. Balanced finish. Alcohol is hidden well. This would be a good session beer, if not quite as strong.
