Tap at the brewery. Medium dark brown with a white head. Nice hop aroma, a little nutty, with nice malt balance. Flavor has a nice hop presence, a little citrusy, good maltiness, very well balanced.

On tap and growler, poured dark brown with a really hoppy and chcoclate aroma. Starts out bitter with citrusy hops and finishes with a chocolately brown with a nice warming alcohol feel. Extremely complex and wonderfully done, another excellent town hall beer!

Pint pour, on tap at the brewpub on 7-16-09. Really interesting, unique, and appealing aroma features chocolate-covered raisin and cereal scents. Pours a clear, medium brown with a dark brass tint and a small to moderate amount of beige head. Produces good lacing. Excellent taste features milk chocolate, dark chocolate, melon, and apricot flavors. Good hops bite, but the malts dominate. Mocha aftertaste. Medium body. Lively and a little oily in the palate. This is instantly one of my favorites from a brewery that produces a lot of good beers.
