detroiter (957), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA Feb 16, 2007 Cask pours a hazy amber gold, with at least an inch of nearly white foam. Very nice lacing throughout the glass. A tiny bit of light citrus (from the lemongrass or the hops or both – I don’t know) in the aroma.
Very tasty with big malt flavor (though a little less sweet than I remember the tap version being) with an abundance of honeymalt character to it. The lemongrass flavor is far more prominent in the cask version than the tap variety, very full of citrus and some floral spiciness. Just a hint of a soap flavor from the lemongrass.
Lightly hopped, medium bodied, and softly carbonated.
MrBendo (978), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Aug 8, 2007 Draft on 8/2/07. Most clear golden amber. Taste of honey, orange peel, but mostly lemongrass. A bit sweet and has a syrupy texture. Up front spiciness and tanginess. No trace of alcohol. I really liked this beer. So shoot me. undsioux7 (472), Cologne, Minnesota, USA Aug 2, 2007 On tap at the pub. Pours a clear medium golden color with a small head. Aroma is fruity, soapy. Nice sweetness, but the soapiness comes through too much to make this one enjoyable.

Bitter citrus hop aroma with a very faint floral aroma. The bitter body explodes with floral and citrus flavors - honey, spring flower beds, and lemongrass. A very interesting flavor but a tad overpowering on the palate. Probably the least sweet beer I’ve had with belgian candy sugar in itCrisp clean finish.
