Velvet seamless head: gorgeous. 99% opaque, 1% ruby. Gently smoked gouda cheese, light medium body. Chunky lacing. None of the chocolate cop-out many sweet stouts use to make my cavities happy, and very nice overall.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer benefits from being in the cask. The manager said it is the coffee stout without the coffee. I think it is a sweeter version of their oatmeal stout. Either way, well done. Roasted flavor followed by swee taste.

Cask. Stoutish aroma; no coffee. Town Hall did a brew or two with the Peace Coffee Co. and to my understanding this brew is the same as that but without the coffee and in a cask version. Cascading brown body, leaving an opaque brew when it is finished. Guiness-like head, almost to a tee. Beautiful lace...textbook. Very nice flavor. Sweeter than Guineess, yummy. Nice alcohol profile. I didn’t get the commercial description off the menu; somebody please pick me up on that. Delicious. One of the more flavorful cask beers I’ve ever had. I could drink this all night.
