Grapefruit and pine nose. Palate follows suit. Big hop explosion. Finish is tad bitter.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head and great lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, tangerine, and pine. Flavor is about the same, lightly sweet bready and pretty bitter for an APA. Lightly astringent, with a medium body.

On tap at Town Hall Brewery as "Town Hall West Bank Pale Ale." Nose is all Simcoe. Big time. Light copper color. All out hops initial; good balanced mid palate, with a tinge of sourness; finish is also well-balance. Long moderately bitter aftertaste. Pretty standard US-style pale ale. Okay

on tap at TH 20Aug2012, This is most def. a session IPA, the simcoe is awesome and tastes great, finishes quick and low ABV make this a true winner.

Tap at the Brewery. The brewer just replaced the West Bank Pub Ale with this recipe. Tap at the brewery. Light copper pour with white head that clings to the glass forever and refuses to fully dissipate on top of the beer. Strong fresh Simcoe hop aroma. Looks and smells great! Extremely flavorful with rich malt and big floral hops. Unbalanced toward the hops but that’s ok. Medium palate but overall, the best session beer available for hop heads.
