Bottle on holiday in Lyme Regis. Now under the ’Lyme Regis’ label. Almost clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has mild fine carbonation. Usual bitter profile - tangy dried fruits, bitter floralness, and mild citric peel. Not so typical is a touch of violets. Minerally dry finish. Okay.

Bottle conditioned. A pretty tepid bitter but quiet dry, which gets a point more from this critic. Typically caramel flavoured bitter otherwise.

An amber brown coloured beer. a light hop aroma with a hint of malt in the background. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off dry and malty, nutty then there is a background hoppy bitterness. The maltiness lasts into the finish. Tasted at the Brewery, Lyme Regis, Dorset. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
