On cask at The Congress, Longton. A golden pour with a thin white head. Well hopped, citrus and a well balanced bitter finish. I’m not that bothered with beers of this type and there’s endless amounts of them at this time of year. This was impressive though.

Handpumped at the Brunswick, Derby. First beer of an long ratebeer day with maeib, chris-o and deepblack. And this beer was one of the highlights for me, all juicy fruits and dry hops.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Brunswick Derby. A golden coloured bitter with a hoppy aroma with both lemons and oranges noted. The taste has some sharp hop flavours and goes down a treat. Nice start to a good day’s beer drinking.
