3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
What an intriguing idea, a beer brewed entirely with malted oats. It was very pale yellow with a slight haze and a good collar of white head that lasted to the bottom of the glass. The aroma was slightly muted, but revealed dusty grain, straw and lemongrass. It was a light bodied beer, but silky on the way down the throat. Very gentle bitterness, but definitely there. The finish gave a lasting impression of lemon juice. I could have had an enjoyable session on this (if I had enough time and enough money).
