Bière blonde refermentée de 8 % abv. Couleur jaune clair brillant.

Toye’s first, using the ’Guldensporenslag’ from 1302 as its theme. Creamy, off-white head, misty golden blonde robe. Aroma of citrus peel, pineapple, yoghurt, green apples, honey and also a bit phenolic, with a slightly chemical feel to it. Fruity taste, citrus touch, caramel and bready malts, finish mildly and aromatically hoppy. Just another tripel.

330ml bottle (HBF2014, Friday)
Fairly pleasant floral honey aroma. Lovely soft pale grains, but a nice hoppy bite. Smoother after adding a little yeast, as expected. Classic Belgian - finish is so bready.

33 cl bottle @ HBF ’14, BBE 03.07.2015
Aroma has soapy citrus, some toffee typical to Belgian ales and apricot. Foamy palate. Flavour has apricot, peachy tones and belgian yeast. Quite typical Belgian blonde. Refreshing to be 8%.

Bottle. Pale yellow, haze. Pretty standard belgy- like ale. Has good malts, lots of flavours. Quite balanced, enjoyable nice. Didn’t really feel that strong, just sort of like a easily enjoyed brew.
