weezfour (82), Oradell, New Jersey, USA May 4, 2008 I understand why this is getting higher ratings.. I just think its sort of overdone. I love love love wheat beers, this was just a flavor overload for me. Couldn’t figure out what was going on.
NJBeerman013 (609), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Oct 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden in color with a frothy white head. The aroma is spicy, grainy, a little citrus. The flavor is very spicy, a littlle bit of banana, and very snappy in the backend. It has a crisp, biting peppery finish. Diggin’ it. KornDogg (31), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 12, 2008 Bottle. Lancaster Beer Festival... very refreshing hef, sweet and distinct banana flavor... more complex then I thought it would be unclemike (380), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Sep 30, 2008 Pours a hazy blonde color with a thin white head. Good aroma and flavor of bananas and bubble-gum. The yeast and esters are present and enjoyable. The mouthfeel is very smooth and comfy. This is a pretty good hefeweizen sirpsycho (190), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 27, 2008 Bottle at Mad Mex (Monroeville). Pours a slighlty cloudy orange, white head. Aroma is malt and a touch of citrus. Flavor is also malty and citrus, had a strange finish, very reminescient of Miso soup !?!?, but not in a bad way. taalhiker (111), Dayton, Ohio, USA Sep 9, 2008 From 12oz bottle. Light golden color with just a little cloudiness. I expected more haze since it said Unfiltered. Poured with little head that dissipated quickly. Good clove and banana flavors but a think mouthfeel. My first Troegs - kind of a let down but I’ll try additional bottlings.
