<i>From bottle : </i>Pours a very appealing clear dark copper color, with a finger of foamy white head, that sticks. Nose of big piney hops, very nicely balanced with background malts, for a wonderful smelling beer. Taste is on the sweet side, but very nicely balanced again between the malts and hops. A very heavy mouthfeel, with a little bitter bite toward the end. Nice smooth palate and end with a pleasing soft hop aftertaste. Very good.

Cloudy pink tea color in the glass, with a fluffy clingy head. Muted smooth hop aroma, pink grapefruit with some muted oak character. Smooth on the tongue, less bitey than it is from the bottle non-cask. Critrus and green wood in the mouth, watery palate with a bitter tangy aftertaste. Great beer on cask..or anyway you can get it.

Jan 4, 2009 Thanks to Daknole for the bottle. Pours a hazy amber orange with a one inch white fluffy head. Great retention and lacing. Aromas of pine and resin with a light malt touch, bread. Flavors upfront of malts, with a nice hop finish, but bitterness is minimal.

Dec 26, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured a murky burnt orange with a one finger head. Smell is strong floral and hoppiness with slight sweet hint. Taste hits with complex hop flavor with citrus that mellows to a nice malty sweetness. Mouthfeel is very easy. A very good hop beer

Beautiful amber color with hoppy aroma. Great flavor and crisp finish.

Dec 23, 2008 Bottle from trade with Butters. Poured amber with a creamy off-white head that left light lace. Nice caramel and hop citrus aroma. The flavor found orange peel and a malt balance. Medium body, crisp, medium bitterness. Very nice!
