Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 30, 2007 Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, but added light notes of nuts, leading to a dry end. Tasty for the style. Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 4, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, dark, orangey brown with a creamy, beige head. Lightly burned caramel aroma. Rather thin and watery body, some burned caramel and roasted malt and a hint of fruit. But fairly dry without any real bitterness. Quite drinkable though. 280507 Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 26, 2002 Dark; soft, nutty aroma; thin body, slightly metallic; nuts & malt. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/08/2003

argo0 (6144), Washington DC, USA Apr 8, 2002 A pleasant beer, but nothing special. Deep red-brown hue capped by minimal foam. The aroma is mild, buttery English hoppiness. The flavor is more to the malty side, nutty and toasty, than hoppy. Mild aftertaste.
