stegosaurus (1883), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA May 3, 2008 Bottle sampled. Pours golden with a decent size white head. Aroma of fruit, citrus, and biscuit. The flavor is sweet, honey, fruit, citrus, biscuit, and a mild bitter finish. The most disappointing scratch brew i had yet.
Linus_Stick (1470), Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 18, 2008 A typical D/H. Has a bit more bite to it than most which is a good thing. Aroma was very weak. Could pick up some grass and not much else. Pour was a nice murky medium gold with a one finger white head and some thousands of tiny floaties (I love that they didn’t filter this!). Taste was nice, crisp and refreshing. Light pilsener malt all the way through with some hops coming out to dry the mouth and bitter the tongue. Great carbonation and dryness. I’ve upped the ratings twice as I finish the glass. redlight (1029), Winter Park, Florida, USA May 10, 2008 cheers to Beerlando for this one! Sweet malty aroma honey with a hint of cereal grains. Pours cloudy yellow with a thin white head. Sweet malts, hints of citrus, grassy, a good bite and dry finish. Not bad and easy to drink. mkobes (2014), New York, USA May 4, 2008 Bottle. Deep hazy golden in color with a little white head. Bready malty citrusy aroma. Lemon, orange citrusy notes. Malty and fruity flavor. Pineapple notes. Crisp and refreshing. Finish is dry. Very drinkable. Eyedrinkale (3091), Beer Town, New York, USA May 4, 2008 Bottle. I’ve seen a lot of great looking beers and this is as good as any of them when poured into a Hennepin glass. Gold with a thick, white head. Aroma is bread with a hint of lemon, like a cupcake. Flavor is a great mix of zesty citrus and pineapple. Nice light flavor makes this a really refreshing beer. Bravo!
