Rastacouere (5106), Saint-Lambert, Quebec, Canada Jun 6, 2005 Clear lightly carbonated golden. Gentle cover of white foam lasts on top of the beer. Highly floral hops hugs bright grainy, toasty malt. Faint diacetyl notes are a good match to the tea-like herbal undertones, reminiscent of dandelions and lemon. Grassy, floral and citrusy palate. Cuts short with a firm bite of bitterness that refreshes the palate a lot. Intense dry lemon character. Smooth palate, but perhaps a touch too little carbonation. Medium bodied. Good. CaptainCougar (4476), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jul 12, 2006 Pours a transparent pale golden with a frothy, and nicely-lacing white head. Aroma of grainy pale malts and some noble hops with a hint of maize. Starts fairly light in body with a mild malty sweetness and turning more earthy, dry and floral saaz hoppy bitter toward a crisp finish. Fairly true to style, but nothing too interesting.
