Had this out of a massive bottle in mid-july. A buddy of mine won it back over the holidays and was kind enough to save it for a special occasion. Taste great in the heat of summer as well!

12-oz. Thanks, Skoi! Crystal clear bright amber with light gray swirls on top. Not nearly as rubied as the photo, but mine was a smaller pour. Definite honey nose, in a grassy way. Mild creamy body, lots of pie spice, a little tiny bit of cherry. Long sweet finish. Lots of sugar throughout. A bit too restrained to be of much interest, but it certainly hides the booze exceptionally well.

Bottle from Beerman6686. Thanks! Pours a reddish tone with a thin head. Aroma is strong with lots of yeasty spice, some sweet cherries, honey, and lots of nail polish remover. Flavor is alcoholic throughout. Sweet cherry syrup, yeast, jet fuel, spice. Overly sweet, extremely heavy, too hot. I did not really like this one at all.

Growler from the Brewery. Pours a crystal clear red-amber color with a thin, creamy off-white head that diminishes quickly but resurrects with a slight swirl of the glass. Minimal lacing. Aroma is of bubble gum and cherries. Flavor is a sweet blending of bananas, bubblegum, cherries and cloves. Finish is warming. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Excellent fruit beer.

Pours a clear rose wine color with a small, foamy, khaki colored head. Soapy lacing mostly rejoins the body. The aroma shows sweet candy sugar and honey, artificial, medicinal cherries, and a hint at floral hops. The taste of cherry cough syrup is not a welcomed one, and nor are the attempted cover-ups of honey, sugar, and floral blossoms. A sticky, syrupy body sits goes down too thick and sits heavy in the stomach. This one is way too big of a beer for what it delivers, and it feels like it was thrown together on a moment’s notice. Quite simply put, its a mess.

Sampled from my sister on draft at Max’s Taphouse in Baltimore. A brown, somewhat cloudy color with a thin, foamy off-white head with short retention. The aroma was a coffee and toffee blend with some subtler caramel malt, mixed with a bit of fruit and spice. The taste was sweet and a raisin-fruity blend with very little bitterness. It was a pretty wet beer with a full feeling on the palate and low carbonation.
