Naturally fermented cider made only from local Asturian apples, selected by AACOMASI, the Asturian Association of Cider Apple Growers. The production process is checked and certified by ECA, the Certification and Quality Guarantee Organization, who ensure that the whole process has been followed through and is implemented according to the guidelines leading to the award of the ‘Naturally Fermented Quality Cider’ stamp of approval.

Colour: Lemony-yellow on green. Bubbly on pouring. Pours well. Fruity, unripened apple bouquet. Nuances of dried roses with a hint of freshly churned butter, with a pleasant, tart taste. After tastes of citrus fruit, grapefruit and lemon linger on the palate.

Tart aroma and flavor. Nose is musty and complex as hell. Flavor not as much so but nice n dry and very refreshing. Top 5-10 cider out of my first 100.

A murky yellow cider with aroma of beautiful tart apples, horse blanket, lactic acid, Epsom salts, very Gueuze like, very nice. In mouth, a nice tart apples and Epsom salts, very nice and smooth, light bodied, refreshing and pleasing. On tap at Binny’s.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2014 Bottle. Green apple nose is mostly clean, slightly malic. Puckering lactic acid dominates, acids are bright and salivating, juicy in the mouth but the sugar no match for such sharp acidity. I had Trabanco Sidra Natural twice in Spain, once at their restaurant in Gijon, poured by the fancy-pants cider man... I thought their version was average, clean and simple and without flaws, nothing standing out. This bottle, different or not, is more raw than I remember their sidra, the acetobacter vinegar and pickle note begins to creep on me... but I’ve grown more sensitive to acidity in recent years so it could be me.

Bottle at Casa de Sagues, Arenas de Cabrales, Pico’s de Europe, Spain, Sunday 15th June 2014 Pours hazy lemony colour when poured from a great height you’ll get some bubbling and when the barman opened the bottle there was a little fizzy noise. Refreshing cider or should I say Sidra, Really nice appley nose, not particularly juicy and not sweet, but v.good A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3
