Body is medium yellow. Aroma is notes of cheese, apples, lemon juice, and mold. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic. Light to medium body, watery texture, flat carbonation, moderately astringent, lightly alcoholic. Well, it’s got nothing on the best Normandy ciders, but at least it doesn’t just smell like apple juice. I’m personally not fond of the strong cheesy smell, but I could see some folks enjoying that. Nice balance, it’s assertively tart. Overall just ok.

Clear medium gold. At least clear until I dumped some sediment in on the last pour. Aroma is tart apple peels, rather bold and pleasant. Flavor is lighter, but more apple peel going on with some good fresh apple flavors. Pleasant and enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours pale yellow with an off-white head. Aroma of apples, fruitiness and yeast. Flavor is sweet and sour apples with some bitter notes. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Bottle. An unclear pale golden cider, flat. Sour apples and acidity, apple cores and a generic fruityness. Lightly vinegarish and quite fruity on the palate, dry and medium bodied. Apples, pale malts and vinegar notes in the finish. Lasting end. A quite pleasant cider, although a tad too vinegarish. 130216

Bottle @ The 4th Annual Fastelavns-Smagning Ulfborg, 2013. Pours hazy yellow with a small bubbly head. Lemon, tart apples and barnyard. Dry and funky. Slight hint of acetone. Dry finish.

Bottle. Clear yellow with floaties and almost no head. Aroma is apples, fruit and a little sulfur. Flavour is apples, acetone, brett, dry, little acid and sulfur.
