4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20Tasted on bottle and directly from cider vat in Asturias. Fresh apple aromas, along with some citric ones. Pours hazy pale golden. No head. Tastes apple and vinegar acidic. Finish is long and sour, astrigent.
One of the best Asturian ciders, no doubt. it has won many awards in this region, the biggest producer of cider in Spain, where cider is almost a religion.
Point that you can only trully evaluate and appreciate its qualities when its PROPER POURED, that means you have to "escanciar" it, lift the bottle as much as you can and let the cider drop into the glass you hold with the other hand as low you can. This way you can "break" the cider and get air mixed with the liquid, enhancing it. If poured directly from bottle to glass it has no strenght at all.

Bottle. Golden colour . Aroma is citrus, yeast, sourness, apple. Flavour is citrus, yeast, sourness, apple. OK cider.

Clear medium gold. At least clear until I dumped some sediment in on the last pour. Aroma is tart apple peels, rather bold and pleasant. Flavor is lighter, but more apple peel going on with some good fresh apple flavors. Pleasant and enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours pale yellow with an off-white head. Aroma of apples, fruitiness and yeast. Flavor is sweet and sour apples with some bitter notes. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Bottle. An unclear pale golden cider, flat. Sour apples and acidity, apple cores and a generic fruityness. Lightly vinegarish and quite fruity on the palate, dry and medium bodied. Apples, pale malts and vinegar notes in the finish. Lasting end. A quite pleasant cider, although a tad too vinegarish. 130216

Pours clear golden with a few bubbles. Aroma has notes of sour apples and yeast. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a very dry finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is flat

Bottle @ The 4th Annual Fastelavns-Smagning Ulfborg, 2013. Pours hazy yellow with a small bubbly head. Lemon, tart apples and barnyard. Dry and funky. Slight hint of acetone. Dry finish.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear yellow with a small off-white had. Aroma is sweet, apples, tart and notes of vinegar. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and moderate acidic finish. 160213

Bottle. Clear yellow with floaties and almost no head. Aroma is apples, fruit and a little sulfur. Flavour is apples, acetone, brett, dry, little acid and sulfur.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich apples, notes of alcohol and sulphur. Nice and tart.
