Bottle (RBESG2011, Grand Tasting)
Dis have sinky crap, but that stayed in the bottle. Vinegary aroma. Very dry and acidic. Close to a UK cider. The apple in this is clear, but perhaps it’s a too dry for me.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Martin243 (476) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2011
Bottle ordered in a restaurant in Costa Teguise: Reading the notes above, I think I was sold a duff ’un: It wasn’t "clear, transparent, bright yellow", but cloudy like scrumpy. It didn’t taste good, just sour with a hint of parmesan. but my sample may not be representative. Live and learn!

bottle. vibrant nose of must, bitter apple skin and even something resembling hops (grassy, green, musty). high bitterness, medium-high astringency with semi-sweet apple pulp flavor. above average, which given the presence in nearly every bar / sidreria in asuturias I figured it was more of a common / simple sidra, so the surprise was nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Marko (3612) - Split, CROATIA - SEP 23, 2010
Bottle (2005 vintage!) courtesy of fiulijn whom I thank a lot :). After doing a huge job on Asturian cideries, I finally get to try an Asturian cider :). Yellow body bordering somewhere between hazy and murky. Nicely sweet and sourish corky appley aroma. Sweeter than I thought it would be. Sure, there is a relatively strong acidity and notes of glue (that are pleasant), but the underlying corky sweetness balances this out nicely. A lovely cider in my opinion.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Sideria la Socarrena, Barcelona. Bright very hazy yellow looks. Big and fruity, slightly acidic with some ripe and chewy apples. Quite sweet but a nice tart finish balances it out. Good stuff
