Cider made from mixed varieties of cider apples: bitter, tart, sweet, bittersweet etc, according to traditional methods. Fermented in temperature-controlled wooden casks till January and February when it is repeatedly decanted between casks.

Colour: clear, transparent, bright yellow. A complex bouquet with hints of ripened apple; good presence in the glass. Fizzy and bubbly

Bottle at RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at The Dean Swift, London. Pours clear, pale yellow with a few bubbles. Tart apple nose. Great flavor, lots of tart apples, light sugar, light funk. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet, faintly warming finish, medium tart apples that linger. Very good cider.

Acida pero suave. Entra muy bien. Ligera sin espuma. Escanciada en tipico vaso asturiano.

Tasted at RBSG grand tasting. Green bottle. Hazy golden color. Minimal head. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Great funky gueuze like aromas, some apple, spice. Moderate tart sour taste, light sweet. Amazing, complex cider.

Draft at Fountainhead, served in a small goblet. Musty and tart, farmy aroma of wet hay and Brett yeast. Crisply tart and very dry in the finish. Slightly cloudy pale gold color. Quenching and tasty, enjoyed this quite a bit.

Fresh bottle at the Sidrería El Ñeru, Madrid. Cloudy golden colour. Fresh sour apple aroma. Very good soft mouthfeel. Lovely sour fresh apple flavour. Sor dry apple finish. Yum! Goes great with the strong cheese called Queso Cabrales!

Bottle at Tiera Astur Oviedo. A little bit on the sweet side, but overall nicely balanced. No wonder there is so much of it in Oviedo right now.

Bottle, bought in some cheese-shop in Barcelona behind the Maria Christina market.
Pours pale hazy yellow, no head. A bit more yellow than the Camín version. Aroma is quite tart, adding both sweet red apples to zesty, tart green ones. Quite fresh feel. Low carbonation, nice dry mouthfeel. Flavour is tart, light apple vinegar, dry on my teeth. Green apple zest dominating throughout with a slight citric finish. Nice, despite the light heartburn it gave me.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Sideria la Socarrena, Barcelona.
Bright very hazy yellow looks. Big and fruity, slightly acidic with some ripe and chewy apples. Quite sweet but a nice tart finish balances it out. Good stuff

Bottle (2005 vintage!) courtesy of fiulijn whom I thank a lot :). After doing a huge job on Asturian cideries, I finally get to try an Asturian cider :). Yellow body bordering somewhere between hazy and murky. Nicely sweet and sourish corky appley aroma. Sweeter than I thought it would be. Sure, there is a relatively strong acidity and notes of glue (that are pleasant), but the underlying corky sweetness balances this out nicely. A lovely cider in my opinion.
