Poured from a bomber, picked up earlier in the month at the brewery. Dark, dark brown with a medium dark tan head. Nose is mostly chocolate with a hint of fruit. Nicely balanced taste, sweet with a bit. This is full bodied with a nice oily texture. Very nice sipping beer.

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours near black with a thick tan head and a chocolate aroma. There is a rich chocolate and dark molasses flavor with a hint of Belgian yeast ester and a dry bitter finish.

Bomber from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Pours very dark brown with a slight dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate and yeast. Med + body. Flavor is dark chocolate, smooth burnt malt and some hints of yeast. Trying to get some fruit ester, but the chocolate is pretty strong. Theres a bit of heat hitting the back of my throat, but not much. Pretty solid and tasty stuff.
