3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 jrob21 (2009) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 27, 2012
Pours a deep amber color with an off white wispy head. Toffee and nutty aroma. Flavor is a little sweet with some caramel notes and a crystal sugar aspect. Finish is a little bitter and fruity. Ok not great.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 riversideAK (5404) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAR 27, 2011
Nose of caramel malt, iced tea, biscuit, a little lime. Pours amber, nice clarity, decent head retention. Flavor is iced tea, caramel, a light dry biscuity note. Light citrus rounds of the finish. Hop presence is rather light, malt bill is not for me. As one of my favorite raters of sour ales would say, "beer is caramelly and meh".
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 bvc (1102) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - MAR 25, 2011
Draft at naked city. Pours a copper/amber golden with ample dirty white head that holds small tight retention with spotty lacing. Bready, ice tea malt...hints of lemon and lime with doughy undertones. Doughy malt, tea, saltine crackers, piney sweetness. No flaws to speak of, but not what I’m looking for in an ipa...especially with a name like hoppy bitch.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Shink (177) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 5, 2012
A golden copper color with a foamy, off-white head. It has a strong grainy smell. Grainy and hoppy taste with slightly sweet tones. Finish is malty without much residual hoppiness. Fairly bitter.

Not much of a "Bitch" for a beer. I rather enjoyed it, and was not at all offended.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 22415brewery (313) - redmond, Washington, USA - JAN 4, 2012
Bomber. Pours a medium golden, a touch hazy, slight amber highlights and lasting fairly thick 3/4" head. Smells of cascade hops, citrusy, slightly floral, somewhat akin to old oranges and grapefruit.. Hints at a pastry-like sweetness in aroma. Up front it displays light caramel candy-like sweetness and a low malt character. Medium mouthfeel is exacerbated by the fairly clean bitter finish. The hops carry a dank characteristic that can either be good or bad. Musty.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 pinkzambia (1294) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Tap: Clear copper color with a nice head and sticky lacing. Citrusy aroma as well as freshly cut grass. Mainly just bitterness in the taste. Full body. This beer is fine, but lacking in complexity.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Reid (1596) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - SEP 22, 2012
22oz bottle from Fred Meyer in S.Salem.
$3.99,
Reading the ratings i am not expecting much.
Huge over sized off white head..too big takes whole glass up after a while the typical orange of an IPA appears.
Not a great scent to this some faint herbal hop..though that might be the head blocking out the aroma
There are resiny ,herbal hops and caramel malts almost balanced until the end when the hops take over..this is more a hoppy amber and i like it as that but not an IPA
Palate was fine enough..quite smooth in fact.
Overall very pedestrian for an IPA if it were labelled an amber i would have bumped it up another .5
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 xarcadia (44) - California, USA - DEC 25, 2012
Malty, tastes like coffee. I don’t get much hoppiness for an IPA. Some fruity esters at the end. Bubbly on the palate.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 troopie (1977) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - MAR 26, 2012
Draught. Orange colour, thick white head. Citrusy aroma. Flavour is not all that hoppy, more like a pale. Bodied light, Hop finish like an ipa.
