2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 cfrancis (1766) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2012
Pours a dark ruby red with a small white ring. Aroma is caramel malts, sweet candy and earthy hop. Taste is fairly bland, caramel malts, sweetness and a very small hop presence. Would like more hops.

Poured (probably too) cold right out of the fridge with a thick, gold tinged cream head that quickly subsided and no lace. Color is a clear honey amber with some tiny bubble trails. Aroma is hop at first then a nice heavy caramel with a little toffee, malt. Flavor’s like nose, fairly dry, heavy carbonic tang, not a lot going on. Body’s a tad thin while carbonation is a bit overbearing. Finish is like flavor, short, and totally forgettable. Wish I could’ve let this warm a bit first.

22oz bomber from LetsPour poured into a shaker. Pours a clear amber with about a finger of off-white head. Malty aroma. Caramel and bread with just a little citrus fruit. Taste is light bitter. Chocolate and caramel with citrus. Kinda reminds me of orange flavored chocolate. Medium bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, awesome. I’d really like to try more by these guys.

22 ounce bottle purchased from LetsPour, poured a dark amber color with aromas of malt, bread, some molasses, and some caramel. Flavors are the same, decent beer overall.

650ml bottle pours amber in color with a creamy lasting white head which leaves some fine lacing behind. Light toasted malty aroma. Taste is malty sweet balanced with a nice hoppy bitterness. Nice carbonation and a medium body presented a pleasing mouthfeel. A pleasant tasting ale with much to be desired.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 5000 (4973) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 22, 2011
Bottle:   Deep amber, some sediment floats about, absolutely huge rocky sand colored head, with sticky lacing and very strong carbonation.   The head on this is immense, and it wont go down!   That is by far the
clumpiest lacing I have ever seen!   Soft sweet malty nose, a little bready.   Smooth maltiness right up front, sweeter than most.   Low hops in this one, its all about the malt and the sweetness.   Very pale nuttiness
too.   This one is rather nice.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   A little tangy on the finish.   I liked this one quite a bit.   Low on the hop, stronger on the malts, with more sweetness than average.
Could use a touch more body tho.
