Tried on Beer Quest 2010 with all the guys. This was number 12. Pours a clear golden orange. Little head. Aroma was a bit sour. Flavor was tart with some of the mango coming through. Smooth to drink though.

Bottle:   Color of caramelized sugar, quite thick and hazy, thin to moderate sprity off-white head, dies quickly leaving a few whisps of lacing.   Subtle Mango, very subtle.   Otherwise a bit of malted wheat.   Pretty much comes off as an American Hefe, without any of the sulpher, but instead a hint of fruit.   Semi-sweet on the tongue, certainly wheaty, in the American sense in that its not heavy like German examples.   A brush of fruit to start, fades out towards the finish, remains sweet.   Clean, quite clean.   This is great on this hot Seattle day.   Somewhat full bodied, a little heavy on the tongue but it thins out at the back.   Could use a touch more fruitiness to erase any doubts as to the type of fruit.   To me it also has some Passion fruit characteristics.   I’d recommend this to anyone, especially on warmer days.

Bottle. Pours orange with some sediment at the bottom. Mango like sweetness in the aroma with a hint of sweetness. The flavor has a slightly tart and dry mango sweetness on top of a wheaty base. Pretty good.

Tons if yeast at the bottom of the bottle. Sweet, slightly sour and yeast. Nice mango and tangerine flavors

Bottle at blind tasting 5/09. Pours hazy dark gold with little head. Very yeasty, dough-like aroma. Sour mango dominates the flavor, with a little sweet balance. Very fizzy with a long sour finish. Not sure what they were going for, but it’s an okay beer.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a cloudy mango orange color with a small white head and light lacing. Nose of citrus and mango. Mouthfeel is fizzy and much like a wine cooler. The flavor is dominated by the mango and it is hard to tell this is a wheat. Not something I would ever buy again.
