3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 poisoneddwarf (1314) - Rathdrum, Idaho, USA - APR 5, 2013
Bomber labeled as Northwest Brewing Co Mango Weizen. Pours hazy orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma is strong in mango with a little funk. Taste is lightly sweet and tangy with a dry finish. The mango is fairly strong. Body is thin, mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation is soft for style. It’s a good fruit beer made with a less than common fruit. Tastes good.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Alphadelic (1630) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 18, 2013
A hugely slick and oily beer. The fruit is very apparent with a very pulpy texture and a long mango finish. I’m not the biggest fan of it but I’m still coming to terms with the fruit itself.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 ben4321 (3007) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 11, 2012
Location: 22 oz bottle from Half Time, 11/11/12
Aroma: The nose is fruit candy more then real fruit, with candied sugar
Appearance: It pours a slightly cloudy orange color without much head or lace
Flavor: The taste is sweet and fruity, much like the nose, though slightly less candied, lightly tart finish
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an alright feel, though the carbonation is overly fizzy
Overall Impression:
I wasn’t super impressed by this one. Between the tropical fruit candy and the overly fizziness, it is not a great drinker.

22 oz from Fred Meyers in S.Salem

Pours a very hazy orange with a small yet very persistant cream head.
Did not like the aroma it seems "off" nail polish remover and over ripe banana
Taste is slightly better and the mango shows..seems sour though
Palate is fine enough
Low marks here but this beer was on the top shelf out of the refridgerator i think its done

I think i got an old bottle. Tons of yeast floaties. Smell isnt bad. Wheat + mango yogurt. The flavor is tart mango. Actually, though old this is pretty good.

Bottle with Carla. Pours a hazy gold with white foam. Smells sweet and lightly sour of various tropical fruit. Tastes lightly tart with lots of wheat and fruity flavors including passion fruit and mango. Very good for a non-beer drinker.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 cmonster (897) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Bomber served in a flare pilsner. Pours hazy deep orange with a short-med off-white head. Short retention, minimal lacing. Mango is there on the nose along with some barnyard. The mango is more so in the flavor, which is medium sweet. LIght-medium body, creamy texture, good carbonation and finishes slightly dry.

8th June 2009 hazy amber beer. Dry crisp palate. Sharp sour start which is generically fruity and more citrus than mango. Extraodinarily dry finish that sucks your mouth sandpaper dry. Nice flavour, stupid palate!

Trade Route Mango Weizen is a golden ale with some tiny particles in it. It has a thin white head that vanishes in a few seconds. It has a fruity wheat and mango aroma with a note of peach. It’s light bodied and watery. The mouth feels chalky and scratchy the instant this beer enters it. It tastes very sour. Is this on purpose or did something happen to this bottle? Is this supposed to be a Berliner Weisse? What the hell? I can taste the mango but the sourness is overwhelming. Yuck. Down the drain it goes.
