Mango Weizen is unfined and unfiltered. A refreshing beer brewed with Wheat, 2-Row, Crystal, and Munich malts along with Nugget hops for just the right flavor and aroma. Fresh mango puree is added during cold conditioning to create a beverage great when enjoyed by itself or paired with your favorite barbecue.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. I get a lot of wheat and grains on the nose, with just a bit of tropical fruit (which I can only assume is mango). Taste isnít all that sweet, but has a heck of a lot of grain elements to it. OK, but nothing Iíd seek out.

Draft at SEA. Pours a hazy orange color with an OK head. Light, wheaty aroma with a hint of mango. OK taste. Malty notes with some mango. Nothing special, really.

The beer poured out nice a hazy kind of orange and after allowing it to set it never settles. The aroma isnít overpowering with mango, it is a little more subtle. The flavor of the beer is not bad, but the mango flavor does not come through as prominently as one would think. The palate does finish nice and clean so there is no lingering of the flavors. Not the greatest of the fruited beers, but it is an easy drinker and very good for a warm day.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Aggie Liquor Fort Collins. Pours a bit hazy, dark orange appearance with a light tan head. Mango, bubblegum, apricot, a touch spicy aroma. A bit goopy/syrupy. Pretty decent mango flavor with some peach, apricot, and wheat notes. Not as bad as I expected.

Bomber labeled as Northwest Brewing Co Mango Weizen. Pours hazy orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma is strong in mango with a little funk. Taste is lightly sweet and tangy with a dry finish. The mango is fairly strong. Body is thin, mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation is soft for style. Itís a good fruit beer made with a less than common fruit. Tastes good.

A hugely slick and oily beer. The fruit is very apparent with a very pulpy texture and a long mango finish. Iím not the biggest fan of it but Iím still coming to terms with the fruit itself.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Half Time, 11/11/12

Aroma: The nose is fruit candy more then real fruit, with candied sugar
Appearance: It pours a slightly cloudy orange color without much head or lace
Flavor: The taste is sweet and fruity, much like the nose, though slightly less candied, lightly tart finish
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an alright feel, though the carbonation is overly fizzy
Overall Impression: I wasnít super impressed by this one. Between the tropical fruit candy and the overly fizziness, it is not a great drinker.
