Bottle. Cloudy light amber with a fizzy head. Tart wheat aroma with tropical fruits. Medium body. Nice but mild tropical fruit flavors with a bready wheat ale tartness in the background. Having tried this brewers other beers this one was a bit of a letdown. Not bad, though.

Oh man do I hate mangos - going into this with an open mind - keep it together, Nick - gotta get through this rating... Ah thank god, it is a wheat beer after all. Very nice looking drink - deep orange and amber with a nice fluffy white head. Lots of smooth wheat malt evident in all facets of this drink - suprisingly heavy malt body with a light citrus presence. The mango is not the central component of this drink - which I am happy with - but is a very well paired accent to a very rich and heavy wheat backbone. Great wheaty finish, mild banana notes that also pair well with the mango.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy dark, orangish copper, minimal head. Subtle wheat aroma with a little citrus. Taste starts off with an odd mix of malts, then gets some definite citrus and mango flavor, and finishes clean with minimal sweetness. High carb. Not bad, but not something I’d reach for often.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
22oz Bomber - Gravity Beer Market - Olympia, WA
Aroma – Nice wheat malt aroma with a floral side to the rest.
Appearance – Golden in color, light white head and hazy.
Flavor – A very subtle to no fruit flavor. This had a nice wheat flavor and the hops where very mild but the fruit flavor was very non existent.
Palate – Decent Mouthfeel, Nice texture with a dry finish.
Overall – I was hoping for more from this beer. It just did not hit the mark with the fruit flavor. I will re-rate this beer again hoping I got a off bottle. Just was hoping for something with a tad more flavor in the mango.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours cloudy like an unfiltered weizen, but darker, brownish amber. Aroma is more floral than expected. Taste is similar to jasmine, very subtle mango flavor.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
V - cloudy orange with a carby head that fizzes and dies down pretty quickly. No lacing.
A - vague aromas of fruit and spices but more banana than mango. Resembles a german marzen/hefe. There is some apricot and mango though.
T - Feels like a compromise of banana, apricot and mango. It’s a good idea but it just doesn’t execute.
P - clean, nothing special

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Matured mango orange-brown amber color with decent head and a carbonated looking body, though the body seems to rapidly fizzle out after aeration.. Easy wheat and Britt hop aroma, with perhaps a hint of mango. Easy, enjoyable mango flavor, subtle, but well rounded. Medium-bodied and a decent take on the wheat genre.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
5/10/08 On draught at the brewery. Aroma is slightly more fruity than your standard American Hef, with no hops and light banana, but not estery. Appearance is hazy orange with a low white head. Flavor is classic American hef with a decent sour note that seems to come more from fruit than wheat. Bittering is moderate. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a medium carb texture. Overall, an interesting experiment that unfortunately dosn’t take the style to another level.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a brown orange color with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma is mostly wheat with a light bit of sweet fresh mango. The flavor is similar as it starts with Wheaties and finishes with mango. Finishes somewhat crisp with a little wheat. Mild carbonation.
