500ml. Murky orange-brown color. Very well executed beer. Starts off with a solid Weizen mouthfeel which fades into a pleasant mango aftertaste instead banana. I can see purists sticking up their noses at this one, but I think it works quite well. A good balanced beer. Worth trying.

Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a hazy orange color with a small white head. Fruity wheaty mango aroma. Has a fruity mango flavor with some wheaty hints. Fruity finish with some hints of mango.

pours a cloudy dark orange with a thin/minimal head, no lacing.
smell is of wheat, fruits, malt, and some citrus.
taste is crisp yet smooth, somewhat tart, light on the fruit, wheat, malt, touch of caramel, and a touch of caramel, ends a little dry, but still thirst quenching.

An interesting brew for sure. Pours a nice cloudy orange/gold color with a foamy white head. You can smell the mango...but only if someone told you what was in the beer. Otherwise you smell the wheat. Flavor is wheat, malt and manog...but it tastes like lemon or apple to be honest. Pretty creamy and just a fun beer to drink on a hot day.

22 oz. bottle courtesy of bvc. Pour is golden ruby, hazy, with a one inch white head that falls fast. No lacing. Aroma is quite faint, some wheat is present, some yeast is there. Mango fruit is not apparent on the nose, though there is a very mild sweetness present. Taste is a nice smooth wheat, with round mango flavor. Sweet and a bit tart. Fruit melded well with the wheat. Palate is thin to medium making this nicely drinkable. Another tasty and unique beer from Laughing Buddha. Thanks for hooking me up Brandon!

22 oz. bottle - deep yellow with brown tints and earthy tones; thin white head; wheat and grainy nose with slight touch from the mango, but seems more like lemon to me; thin texture, but nice balance between the sweetness and wheat; interesting

22 ounce bottle from Pike Street Beer & Wine. Consumed during a writing workshop session on Capitol Hill (Writing House). The pour delivers a hazy, honey-orange body. The color is darker and richer in the center, so much so that I thought that I was perhaps witnessing the fusion inherent in a luminous mass of fusion. But, alas, I was not. Rather, I was witnessing the goodness of Mango Weizen. The head was white and the carbonation was very lively. The aroma was—from greater to lesser—of mango, citrus, and wheat. The flavor was the inverse—wheat, fruity sweetness, and mango. There was also an earthiness to the mango, an almost leafy vegetation flavor. On the finish, the mango and fruitiness slowly fade, leaving behind the wheat that originally was present in the foreground. Mango Weizen was medium-bodied and engaged the entire mouth. It was good, although not entirely my "cup of tea." It is a good ale for a warm summer evening or as an accompaniment to some spicy Thai appetizers.

On tap at the Father’s Day Brewfest. Pours cloudy pale copper with a diminishing white head. Just a bit of mango in the nose, but the entire mango comes through in the taste, including the pit. Light body and carbonation, dry finish.

22. Pours burnished dark coppery amber with a thin little tiny gray rim of foam. Sour, slightly unpleasant DMS-y nose. The mango definitely announces itself in a pleasant and very real way right from the attack all through the mid-palate to the finish. Not much happening under it, maybe a little bit of brown bread backbone. Not too shabby, but needs some work.
