2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, picked up at the local albertsons. Color is orange, kind of muddied with brown. Nose is light and airy, some wheat and malt. Tastes mild, a sweet malty weizen. A little wheat and cereal grains. Missed the mango... Maybe slightly detectable as it warms, but more or less absent.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Fred Meyer. Mango is very unsubstantial, almost distracting from the weizen. Nice body, but aroma and taste lacking.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at Northwest, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small head. Nose is subtle, with minor notes of mango and banana underneath. Flavour follows suit, with notes of mango upfront, followed by banana underneath. Not my thing at all, but at least itís inoffensive.

Blah. This "Mango" beer had no mango flavor at all. Also, weak alcohol content.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a finger of head on a clear straw colored body.
The aroma is mango and strawberry. Nice.
The taste starts as a contrast to the smell: watery wheat with some mild bitterness, mild sweet takes over in the middle to end. Finishes with a strawberry sweetness.
The texture is fizzy with a lighter body and moderate carbonation.
The smell and taste counter each other and are difficult to reconcile. Still, it tastes good, though on the sweeter (fruit) side.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz bottle picked up at The Grapevine
Pours cloudy dark golden with a medium sized white head, some lacing. Aroma is fruity, plastic and wheat. Taste is tropical fruit, herbal and light grains
OK, but I canít pick out the Mango. It all just blends together and nothing stands out. I was looking forward to a strong Mango flavor/aroma.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 ozz. bottle. Pours a medium, poorly retained, ivory heaad, over a slightly hazy orange amber (SRM 12) body....nose is mango with moderate brown sugar over tones, balance to the fruit, minimal hops....taste is mango, light cereal (wheat, Malt) finishing with a very slight bitterness.....mouth feel, body light, no alcohol, minimal astringency, carbonation makes a light tingle and acid. The label implies a Weizen is the underlying beer. This is utterly hidden by the mango, which is totally dominant. The result is a very simple beer dominated by the fruit. Perhaps a yeast change would increase the Weizen notes. BJCP 6/2/12/4/6
