rayOfBeer (260), El Cerrito, California, USA Sep 28, 2008 Poured from bottle a clear golden with a slight orange hue and medium sized white head. Aroma is soft with malt, honey, cereal, a touch of yeast and lemon. Flavor is mild and round with honey, malt, toast, soggy cheerios, caramel, and light tartness in the finish. Palate has a very light tartness with somewhat of a malty feel which runs a little thin in the end but makes for very easy drinking. Overall, not bad for the price. I could drink more but there are definitely better ones out there. ucusty (1194), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 27, 2008 Bottle from Trader Joes in Cary, NC. Clear yellow pour with fizzy white head. Corn and grains on the nose. Flavor is caramel, grains, and a light hoppy finish acrdz (4361), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 9, 2008 Hot day, drank from the bottle. Awesomely refreshing, crisp cracker malts, dry touch of light yeast, a musty, slightly stale hop note that still contains a little bit of snap. Refreshing for sure, but still tastes of cardboard and stale veggies/corn. Who cares. It’s hot out, I wanted a pils, this hit the spot. Sparky27 (579), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear amber with 3 finger cream head and decent lacing. Nose is caramel malt and lager yeast. Taste is malt and more malt with some bittering hops in the finish. Light to medium mouth feel. Meh, pretty boring. BrewDad (1686), Olympia, Washington, USA Jul 16, 2008 12oz Bottle - Trader Joes - Tacoma, WA
Aroma – Nice malt aroma with a good amount of spice and hops.
Appearance – Deep Golden in color, Nice head and clear.
Flavor – This had a good malt and hops balance with the malts being very pilsner style.
Palate – Good Mouthfeel, Decent texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A very average beer this was a nice lager for the night. Liked the easy finish.
