Really did not enjoy. The beer has a sharp taste of a pilsner but more burnt than a regular pilsner. I would say the smell like hay and the taste is like straw. Its possible the beer was degraded in the light bottle. Not sure, either way I didn’t like it.

11.2oz bottle 12/5/13 (Trader Joe’s-Naperville)-42° in Trappist Glass-Poursa clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of pale lager, yeast, grains, and hops. Taste of the same with some grass. This light bodied brew is not very tasty. A bit of a disappointment from TJ’s.

Yellow. Well carbonated, a good looking beer. Dry with hops, giving a medicinal, herbal flavor. It is ok.

Bottle - thanks Razvan?? Pours a clear golden amber with a small white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is grass, grain, caramel, floral. The taste is grassy, caramel, medium sweet and lightly bitter, a bit of a pale lager graininess going as well.. Light body.

Ok Belgian beer. Has a sweet mid-palate which tastes like honey & isn’t characteristic of other Belgian beers I’ve had. Good for a "Budweiser" conversion or my mom.

Bottle->Trappist. Bright gold with small white head. A: lager malt, hint of spice and yeast. T: mild Belgian yeast, grass, ains. More like a lager than a Belgian ale. Not particularly good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Trader’s Joe’s - 11.2 oz bottle. Sparkling light-medium gold pour, nice bubble actions, bubbly white head. Aroma has some light bubble gum accents, some grainy notes, a hint of yeast. Flavor has some light honey sweetness, a touch of bubble gum, some pear-like fruitiness. Mouthfeel has a nice spritz to it. Not bad for a budget Belgian.

Bottle from Trader Joes. Nose is yeasty with a bit of sweetness. Slightly sweet and somewhat floral up front. Some spicy hop character. Decent little ale.
