In this bottle is Belgian brewery know-how dating back to 1867 - the year the recipe was created. It’s a crisp, golden ale brewed using only water, malted barley, hops, and yeast. The dry-hopping procedure, in which uncooked hop heads are added after the brewing process, gives this beer its unique floral aroma and taste.

Tallahassee, Fl - Trader’s Joe’s - 11.2 oz bottle. Sparkling light-medium gold pour, nice bubble actions, bubbly white head. Aroma has some light bubble gum accents, some grainy notes, a hint of yeast. Flavor has some light honey sweetness, a touch of bubble gum, some pear-like fruitiness. Mouthfeel has a nice spritz to it. Not bad for a budget Belgian.

yellow, fizzy, with a very loose white head. Smells very toasty and yeasty. Taste is sweet, surprisingly boozy for 6%, plus some unpleasant sourness. Some grassy hops in the finish. All in all, pretty much a mess.

From 12oz bottle, purchased at Trader Joe’s, around $6-7 for 6 pack, poured into Belgian glass

Aroma: sweet, spices,

Appearance: golden, crystal clear, white head, good lacing

Taste: light sweet, medium bitter

Palate: light body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, lingering bitter finish

Overall: Very crisp with some hops. Very nice initial aroma which fades after a minute or two. Taste is somewhat spicy. Very clear - crystal clear body. Overall, not a bad beer. Easy drinking, highly digestible. A tad bitter than I expected for Belgian Blonde, but not overly so.

Tried a sample at my local TJ’s. Pretty decent for a TJ beer. Aroma is bready and a bit hoppy. Color is yellow-orange with a white head. High carbonation. Taste is lemony, slightly - very slightly - yeasty, some malt sweetness and a nice hop background. Not bad really. I would have bought 2 or 3 bottles if they’d had any in stock, but the tasters bought them clean out.

355ml bottle. More than likely an alias beer. Pours a somewhat clear gold with heavy carbonation bubbles. Flavor is hop pier than you would expect. The quality in this beer is its freshness. Tj’s has a way of only selling fresh beer that should serve as a model for other liquor stores. Its not that great of a beer but it tastes highly competitive to all of the stale and oxidized lower abv Belgian. Golden ales that populate the shelves. Basically a hopped up lager with Belgian yeast. Again not a great beer but pleasant as it tastes fresh.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear golden yellow with three fingers of creamy white head. Aroma is some yeast with lots of floral. Flavor is floral and somewhat sweet. Medium bodied. Not bad for a Trader Joe’s beer. Drinkable.
