COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In this bottle is Belgian brewery know-how dating back to 1867 - the year the recipe was created. It’s a crisp, golden ale brewed using only water, malted barley, hops, and yeast. The dry-hopping procedure, in which uncooked hop heads are added after the brewing process, gives this beer its unique floral aroma and taste.

Clear gold pour nil head. Smells slightly yeasty mostly like barley and pale lager hops. Tastes like a beany pale lager. Overhopped, watery, and barely drinkable.

355ml bottle. More than likely an alias beer. Pours a somewhat clear gold with heavy carbonation bubbles. Flavor is hop pier than you would expect. The quality in this beer is its freshness. Tj’s has a way of only selling fresh beer that should serve as a model for other liquor stores. Its not that great of a beer but it tastes highly competitive to all of the stale and oxidized lower abv Belgian. Golden ales that populate the shelves. Basically a hopped up lager with Belgian yeast. Again not a great beer but pleasant as it tastes fresh.

Bottle. Lemon/orange and lactic barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet lemon/lime, yeast, barley malt and hay flavor. Decent body. Not too bad.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear golden yellow with three fingers of creamy white head. Aroma is some yeast with lots of floral. Flavor is floral and somewhat sweet. Medium bodied. Not bad for a Trader Joe’s beer. Drinkable.

Taste and texture are not as bad, like other said. Aroma is ok. Color is awful yellow, not typical Belgian like.

Pours a golden yellow, lots of carbonation, thick head. Sweet aroma with a hint of bread, clean flavor. Easy to drink Blond Ale. Good for a hot day.

The aroma is malty, apple, peppery, yeasty. The appearance is clear yellow, white head. The flavor is apple, yeasty. The finish is light pepper, yeasty. Medium, light in body. Not a good representation of the style, but I could drink these on a hot day at a BBQ.

Joseph Belgian Blonde Ale has a medium, white head, a mostly clear (very fine sediment is visible), bubbly, golden appearance, and a bit of lacing left behind. The aroma is faint, but one can detect mild malt and cracker. The taste is the same- mild cracker malt, with a kiss of hops at the end. Mouthfeel is medium and a somewhat slick, and Josef Belgian Blonde Ale finishes dry and easy going. No alcohol detected. RJT

This beer isn’t nearly as bad as most of the folks on here report. From an 11.2 oz. bottle, pours clear golden with a fat white head that leaves lacing. Aroma is minimal, some sweet malt and grass, no evidence of dry hopping. Taste is decent, good balance of sweet and bitter, tending more toward the sweet side, with a soft mouthfeel. It is clean, I don’t detect any off flavors. Has a light body, slick texture, and average carbonation. For the price this is a pretty good Belgian ale from Trader Joe’s.
