Bottle from Trader Joes, Sacramento. Pours golden with a huge off-white head and an earthy citrus aroma. There is a typical yeasty sweet malt flavor with a slightly bitter spicy finish.

750mL bottle. Poured clear, straw golden with a nice cap of bright white head. The aroma picked up fresh doughy yeast, floral notes and cloves over soft honey-kissed bready malt.. spicy and warm on the back of the nose.. very clean and enjoyable. The flavor found tangy cloves, white pepper, and tight carbonation on the tip of the tongue, with watered-down honey and bready malts behind.. finished like it started, with tasty yeast and lively carbonation. Lighter-bodied and very well carbonated on the palate.. not overly complex, but it was crisp and enjoyable.

Trader Joe’s, Brooklyn 750ml ($6): Pours a golden color with a frothy white head. Aroma is yeast, fruits, citrus, spice, and a bit of light hops. Taste is very slightly sweet. Nice yeast. Slightly hoppy and dry finish. Easy to drink. This was a pleasant Belgian, and for the price, it cannot be beat.

750 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma has quite a bit of fruit; citrus, banana, mild spices, clove, sweet malts, bubble gum with the typical Unibroue character. The flavor is moderately sweet, malts, cloves, banana, citrus, bubble gum and yeast. Pretty tasty and definitely a good value.

750 ml bottle to snifter (thanks tmoney99). Looks solid; a hazy yellowish-orange with thin white lacing. Smells and tastes solid too; Belgian yeast, hops, citrus, and spice. Good on the palate with a nice, dry finish. Good beer at a great value.

Bottle. Pours a very hazy straw color with a decent-sized head. Aroma of citrus, spice (coriander?) and yeast. The flavor has similar notes, but is balanced nicely for an overall tasty effect. A very solid Belgian-style, and a great value.

Split a 750ml bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a large white head. Aroma was heavy on banana, some citrus notes, spices. Flavor was some banana, tropical fruit notes, some light spice and some yeast notes. Pretty enjoyable, and well priced brew.

Yeast on steroids. This beer is heavily spiced with coriander, pepper, hay, honey and champagne on the nose. Creamy but not delicate palate. Long finish. A very good value for the money and a great companion to dinner.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jb (1809) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 25, 2013
A bit pale, not so attractive, sour yeasty nose, with cloves and pepper. Palate is spicy with plenty of bananas, a bit of citrus. It tastes somewhat dry. Nice and delicate, but not my favorite style of Belgian.
