Crafted exclusively for Trader Joes this delicious beer is made in Quebec, Canada, and brewed according to the time honored traditions of classic Belgian Ales. It strikes the perfect balance between spices, hop, and malt profiles. With champagne-like effervescence and aromatic notes of citrus peel and ginger, this beer is malty, mildly sweet and hoppy with a subtle, spicy finish. It is sure to please the most finicky beer drinkers.

Bottle from the local Trader Joes. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a rather small white head on it. Nose has some banana in there for me, as well as just a hint of some spices (e.g., clove and coriander). Taste is just a tad sweet and has that same spice palate, with a rather effervescent feel to it. Not bad.

Quick dissipating head with a cloudy golden body. Nose of honeydew, mild malt, slight yeastiness ahead of some apple wine. Flavour is see hat thin and light, crisp and the usual Unibroue yeast. Very light and satisfying for a $5 Trader Joes brew. Good.

750ml bottle: This one pours a hazy golden color. There was a bit of a fizzy white head on it that subsided quickly and left no lacing. It has a nice nose. Definitely a bit spicy: perhaps some corriander and ginger. I also get a bit of citrus. The taste is very good. A bit of spiciness on top. Actually a hint of bitterness in there. I know its not, but the body seems a little lighter for a 7.5% beer. A very good beer which I will buy more of. Unfortunately the TJs near me dont carry this. Something to pick up on the next trip to ME or NH.

[My bottle (750ml) shared with GregClow, jercraigs & mabel] Pours a hazy gold with a small lasting frothy white head. Aroma is yeasty and spicy along with some herbs and pale malt. Nice flavour of Unibroue yeast, lots of spices, citrus and pale malt. Medium bodied. Very good.

2014-05-02. Hazy golden yellow body with a modest white head. 3+ Aroma is lightly yeasty, notes of doughy pale malt and light alcohol. 7+ Flavour is pleasant, sweetish yeasty doughy malt character. 7++ Average bodied palate, pleasantly effervescent carbonation. 3+ Not super complex but pretty tasty and an absolute steal at the price! Nice medium blonde Belgian. Nice floral Unibroue classic yeast on lees. Finishes a little sweet. Nice coriander, a little soft malt aroma. Soft carbonation. Bottle from Trader Joes.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty blonde color ale with a huge foamy head with great retention with some great lacing. Aroma consists of Unibroue yeast ester with some rustic malt notes and some peppery notes. Taste is also dominated by some Unibroue yeast ester with some rustic malt notes and a spicy peppery finish. Body is full with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Great mix of drinkability and complexity. Another winner from Unibroue.

Corked and caged bottle. Two-toned golden poppy & moon yellow with a large, fizzy white head that is mostly and quickly diminishing. Very effervescent. Belgian yeast nose - banana, cloves, coriander and candied ginger. Passion fruit, ripe banana, white pepper, cloves and light stone-ground wheat bread flavors. Finish is very faintly sour with more notes of husky wheat and dried straw atop sweet light-vanilla malts. Refreshingly clean with a pillowy mouthfeel.
