3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Pailhead (3859) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - MAY 2, 2013
Bottle: The aroma consists of banana, bubblegum, clove, citrus/orange peel, and ginger. It pours a hazy dull orangish-yellow with a somewhat fizzy white head that quickly fades to a minimal thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of moderate banana and bubblegum. It quickly turns to moderate-heavy citrus with orange/orange peel, lemon, clove, and ginger in the finish. It’s light-medium bodied with somewhat lively, but not prickly, carbonation. Overall, it’s tasty and goes down way to easy for the abv.

Golden ale with a nice foamy head and lacing. Aroma is of lemon, clove, and banana. Well balanced flavor with a lot of lemon, spicy hops, and nutty Belgian yeast, with a slight bit of funk. Very tasty, goes down easy and is a great brew for hot weather. Thirst quenching and complex enough to make you want more. The 7.5% abv is well hidden in the flavor. A great deal at $5 a bottle.
